Children (primary) visited ATAL PARK on 11th Jan (Classes I to III) & on 20th Feb (Classes IV & V) and enjoyed the day.

Children of Classes VI to VIII visited Kurukshetra (Kalpana Chawla Planetarium & Science Panorama) on 20.02.08.

Computer Training programme (PROJECT SHIKSHA under MICROSOFT) was conducted in the Vidyalaya in the month of Feb, 2008. All the teachers participated whole heartedly & appreciated it.

"Taare Zameen Par" movie was shown to children in Ashoka Theatre on 29.01.08. Children enjoyed & appreciated the movie.

Our school was awarded the Certificate of Excellence for Class X result (2006-07).

The Foundation Day of KVS was celebrated on 15th Dec, 07. cultural programmes, speeches & activities were held in the school. The staff took an oath to show their allegiance towards the Sangathan.

On 7th December, 2007, ‘Armed Forces Flag Day’ was celebrated in our school. The members of the staff and students contributed generously to a fund made for the rehabilitation and helping the Ex-servicemen and their dependents.

COMMUNAL HARMONY WEEK (19 Nov to 25 Nov) and FLAG DAY was observed in the Vidyalaya with the objective of spreading the message of communal harmony and National integration. Students collected a big amount for the help of orphand children.

VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK (12 Nov to 16 Nov) was celebrated in the Vidyalaya. Oath ceremony and various competitions like Poster making, Debate competition were held. Sai Jyoti (Class IX) got the Ist position.

MAHIMA won shield and Rs. 11,500/- in Boogie Woogie held in Kurukshetra.

ACADEMIC INSPECTION of Vidyalaya on 02.11.07.

GANDHI JAYANTI (2ND OCTOBER, 2007) was celebrated in the Vidyalaya. This pious day has been observed as the First International Day of Non-Violence. On this occasion Debate, poems & ‘Ram Dhun’ were presented by the students. Lecture on Gandhiji’s life & work with reference to his ideal of Non-Violence in today’s world were given by the teachers. ‘Shramdan’ activities were performed by the students

‘ Hindi Pakhwara Closing Ceremony’ was held on 28.09.07. On this occasion, Speech competition was held. Worthy Principal also emphasized on the importance & relevance of Hindi language in day today life.

‘ A Painting Competition’ for students of Class IV & V was held on 27.09.07 to create National Awareness in order to promote Energy Conservation in the country.

‘ An Antakshri’ competition (House wise) was conducted on 25.09.07.

National Hindi Day was celebrated in the Vidyalaya on 14.09.07. On this occasion POEM & SPEECH were presented by the students. Housewise ‘HINDI SKIT COMPETITION’ was held. All the participants participated whole heartedly and showed their potential in acting too. Respected Principal Sir (Sh. R.P. Chahar) expressed his views on the importance of Hindi and motivated everyone to use ‘HINDI’ in day to day activities.
