1. REPUBLIC DAY
was celebrated with great patriotic fervour.
2. Group Dance Competition was held on 17.01.08.
3. QUIZ COMPETITION was held on 07.11.07. Rangoli Competition was held to celebrate DIWALI and Prizes were given to the winners.
4. CHILDREN’S DAY was celebrated on 14 November. Fancy Dress Competition was held on this occasion. Poems & speeches were held by the students and the teachers to pay tribute to Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru.
Children participated in various activities held at Bal Bhawan organized by Distt. Council Child Welfare.
Mahima (Class VI) got Ist position in Solo dance & IInd position in Rangoli competition.
Asmita (Class VI) won Ist prize in Drawing & Painting competition at National Level.
5. VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK (12 Nov to 16 Nov) was celebrated in the Vidyalaya. Oath ceremony and various competitions like Poster making, Debate competition were held. Sai Jyoti (Class IX) got the Ist position.
6. COMMUNAL HARMONY WEEK (19 Nov to 25 Nov) and FLAG DAY was observed in the Vidyalaya with the objective of spreading the message of communal harmony and National integration. Students collected a big amount for the help of orphand children.
(7) RAJ BHASHA PAKHWADA (14th Sep. to 28th Sep., 2007) was celebrated in the Vidyalaya :
** the Morning Assembly & all the activities were conducted in the Hindi language.
** a speech on ‘Importance of Hindi’ was given by teachers in the Morning Assembly.
** An Essay writing competition (Hindi) was held on 19th Sep., 2007.
** On 21st Sep., 2007 Hindi Poem writing was held.
(8) ‘ An Antakshri’ competition (House wise) was conducted on 25.09.07.
(9) ‘ A Painting Competition’ for students of Class IV & V was held on 27.09.07 to create National Awareness in order to promote Energy Conservation in the country.
(10) ‘ Hindi Pakhwara Closing Ceremony’ was held on 28.09.07. On this occasion, Speech competition was held. Worthy Principal also emphasized on the importance & relevance of Hindi language in day today life.
(11) GANDHI JAYANTI (2ND OCTOBER, 2007) was celebrated in the Vidyalaya. This pious day has been observed as the First International Day of Non-Violence. On this occasion Debate, poems & ‘Ram Dhun’ were presented by the students. Lecture on Gandhiji’s life & work with reference to his ideal of Non-Violence in today’s world were given by the teachers. ‘Shramdan’ activities were performed by the students |
